About

Hello, and and welcome to my website! My name is Sarah, and I am the creator behind environmentallywell.ca!

In 2016, I began experiencing health challenges and eventually discovered that I am an environmentally sensitive individual. Since that time, I’ve done a lot of research, trial and error, and have also studied to become a Building Biology Advocate to improve my own sense of well-being. Given my own experience and sensitives, my goal is to share what I’ve learned to help others achieve and maintain optimal health and wellness.

According to the Government of Canada, Canadians spend approximately 90% of their time indoors. Poor indoor air quality can have adverse health effects that impact one’s quality of life. Many people struggle with headaches, skin problems, fatigue, poor sleep quality or insomnia, asthma, allergies and many other daily health challenges which are triggered by poor indoor air quality and environmental toxins. Thankfully, there are many changes that you can make to improve your indoor air quality and health!

Building Biology is the science of healthy buildings, and as a certified Building Biology Advocate, I have the experience and know-how required to help people create healthy homes that are free of toxic indoor air, tap-water pollutants, and hazards posed by electromagnetic radiation. In addition, there are many lifestyle adjustments that can be made to lower stress and increase detoxification that, when coupled with Building Biology, are indispensable to achieving optimal health and wellness.

The information, resources, and services offered on this website are for everyone regardless of whether you are struggling with a new or chronic health concern or looking to optimize your health, increase your athletic performance, decrease your potential for future disease, or create a health supporting sanctuary for yourself or a loved one!

I welcome you to this space, and invite you to read my blog, resources, and FAQs pages, which outline everything from the basics to the nitty gritty. If you’d like to go further and connect with me personally, please get in touch so that we can work together. I’d be delighted to be a part of your journey!

Warmly,

Sarah
